Job Description

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AWS and System Administrator to join our team. As an AWS and System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and system operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure, leveraging AWS services and best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, VPCs, load balancers, and auto-scaling groups.

2. Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, and fault tolerance.

3. Implement and maintain security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of data, including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption.

4. Manage and configure AWS services, such as S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and system issues, collaborating with development and operations teams.

6. Perform regular system backups, implement disaster recovery strategies, and ensure data integrity.

7. Monitor and manage application and system logs, analyzing trends and proactively addressing potential issues.

8. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.

9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements, provide technical guidance, and support application deployments.

10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AWS services, system administration, and DevOps practices.


Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as an AWS and System Administrator or similar role, with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in managing AWS cloud infrastructure and system operations.

3. Strong proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.

4. Solid understanding of Linux/Unix-based systems and administration (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS).

5. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and system management tasks.

6. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.

7. Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and related orchestration tools is a plus.

8. Understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices for securing AWS environments.

9. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.

10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
